7 April- I had always planned to go back to Giverney, once I had been there the first time. I wanted to have some quality time there, to just sit and draw and soak it all in.

I got to Giverney well before the tourist buses, it was silent. I was able to sit in Monet's garden, listen to the birds, smell the flowers and sketch.

Spent the day drawing. Had lunch under a tree baguette & bottle of pear cider. Life is good!
