After a ridiculously early start, I got to Venice. It is a rabbit warren of crooked streets, piazzas, bridges and dead ends.

The Italians are very laid back and incredibly good looking. I was totally taken aback by how attractive the men were.

The place is pretty packed with tourists during the day but once the sun goes down and the last ferry heads back to the mainland, it is a very relaxed, ancient & elegant city.

At dusk I sat on the edge of the Grand canal and drank a Spritz, a traditional Venetian drink, it was bloody horrible! It tasted like cough medicine!
